  • You belonged to an old race
of bare feet and white dreams.
You came from dust, you are dust
    And you think that
    heat always softens iron.

    You bit the apple
    and renounced paradise
    and condemned a serpent
just because you were the one that wanted it that way.

    For thousands of years
    You remained naked
    And you faced dinosaurs
under a roof and without a shield.

  • If you managed to write this out after drinking (looks at your pulse), I’d be impressed to see how you could write when sober! Either way, I like it! Please post more poems too–you surprise me with what you write and say.

  • @GreekPhysique - they are song lyrics to new song. I can manage the copy/paste button!!!!!

But here’s a poem for you

    GreekPhysique
    is unique

Go to his house for candy
and he’ll give you a treat

    Hit him in the head
    and you’ll get beat

    …I’m just kidding
    He is really nice

    He’ll patch your head up
    and soak it in ice

then he’ll give you a hug and a tickle
    and if you are cool
    …give him a pickle!

    End.

  • @ShimmerBodyCream -  Woo-hoo! That entertained me to no end, especially rhyming Physique with unique. You and your hidden gifts, ha, it makes for great times. See you Tuesday!
