    Happy Father's Day to all the Dads, furbaby Dads, and future Dads out there!

     

     

    Here is a little bit about my Dad. I included a senior pic of him. He grew up on a farm and has worked a lot of jobs. He was a stay at home Dad and did everything despite getting chastised for it by his friends! He faced his own type of sexism. (Like no changing rooms in the bathrooms, being made fun of for being a stay at home Dad.) He did everything. He cooked, he cleaned, he did yard work, he fixed our house, he fixes cars, etc. He used to rock me to sleep and sing Silent Night to me. He even used to paint my nails and do my hair. He taught me never to take shit off of anyone, and gave me his lovely quick temper.

    This is a photo of when I was a freshman. I included it because I look a lot like him. (I was chubby, but I even have funnier, fatter pictures to show you guys sometime.) I get my Cherokee eyes and bulbous nose from my Dad. (if you ever wonder why I use a weird side angle for photos that's why. :P )

    Anyway, I'm thankful to have my Dad. He had kidney cancer back in December/November. I think it might have come back and moved to his bladder. He is getting bladder problems now but he won't let the Dr.'s check. So I am glad to have him this Father's Day. I would say more about him but he likes his privacy.
